Redefining student accommodation in Wales

In the evolving student quarter of Cardiff - one of Europe’s fastest growing capital cities - the availability of private sector student accommodation no longer meets demand. Student numbers are rising and so are expectations.

Today’s student population is seeking a modern living environment with well specified facilities and amenity areas. 

As landowner and developer we replaced the West Wing of Cardiff Royal Infirmary with a 644-bed student scheme. Shaped by feedback from intensive community consultation, the scheme offers up to 10 storeys at its highest point and includes a mix of apartments, studio-style living and cluster accommodation, all set within a secure, high-quality development.

The development opened in September 2019 with residents having full access to an on-site multi-media room, gym and yoga studio, a private dining facility and study areas. The development is further complemented by a private courtyard - providing dedicated open space for the students.
